Educated at DeSoto High School, she graduated from Mansfield High School and later pursued her studies at Northwestern State University. Her professional journey included significant roles at Lowe's and CVS, alongside her entrepreneurial endeavor of running her own printing business. This blend of corporate and personal ambition showcased her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
She was known for her beautiful smile, captivating eyes, and a voice that resonated with such beauty it seemed to open the heavens when she sang. Danyel undeniably brought joy and energy, becoming the life of every gathering she attended. Her personality left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.
Danyel is survived by her loving family, including her children: Faith, Gabby, Tony, and Leslie. She was a cherished daughter to Maxine Horton and a beloved sister to Michael, Johnthan, Matina, Cassandra, and Kevin. Additionally, she leaves behind her aunts Dewanda and Judy, and uncle Dan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Curtis White, her favorite grandmother, Mamie Lee Ross-Horton, her favorite grandfather, Butler Horton, and her uncle Alton. The love she shared with her family and friends will continue to resonate in their hearts.
Danyel Horton's legacy is one of love, resilience, and an enduring spirit that will be remembered by all who were touched by her life.
